I was approached to create a band ID for Slightly Stoopid. Personally, I never heard of them before, but was up to the task. I spent about a day coming up with a concept that was aligned with the guideline laid out by the bands’ agent. Once completed, I presented my concept to the agent and she was ecstatic! Unfortunately, the band was not. In fact, they said that I must have misunderstood and that I’ve completely missed the mark. I loved it!
The original had a pot leaf on the forehead which I removed. The guideline I was given was, psychedelic, drug induced, Grateful Dead like and iconic.
