Orchestral

I’ve never really sat out to compose a symphony. Sometimes it just seems to form when I’m messing around with new gear or sounds. “What Little Remains” is probably one of my favorites. Written in part as early as 1998 or so, I had finally sat down to complete it. I had played around with the piano part for so long that I no longer remember a time when that wasn’t in my head.

Commissioned

I’ve always been so excited to work on a music project. Especially for a cause, I feel strongly about. L98 was composed for Chantelle Tucker for use in a promotional video for orca research. L98 was a specific orca she favored.

Experamental

A collection of odds and ends. Sometimes I would get a new toy and dive into it. For example, “Preset Junky” was performed on an iPad using an app called “Tabletop”. It was really fun to use and I sought out to create something using only preset sounds. Most of these were done in the early 2000s for fun or experimentation. As I said earlier, most are created after acquiring new equipment or sounds.
